Construction industry foil THERMOSILENT
EXPANDED POLYETHYLENE FOIL THAT ENSURES SOUND AND HEAT INSULATION
It is a good elastic support for reducing vibrations, protection against sound
shockwaves and excellent heat insulation. The product is made of environment-friendly
materials, without CFC or HCFC. We also completely recycle our industrial waste.
Use of Thermosilent foils in construction industry
Construction foils Thermosilent type 52 and 53, made of expanded polyethylene,
can be employed in buildings where the main goal is to achieve insulation against
shockwaves.
They are used:
The construction foil can be used in combination with other insulating materials
with lesser sound insulating capabilities. When properly installed the expanded
polyethylene layer will reduce steam permeability, thus reducing the cost of buying
a separate steam-permeability reducing material.
Advantages of the THERMOSILENT foil:
-

Low weight
-
Excellent sound reduction with thin insulating layers
-
Excellent heat-insulating capacity
-
Water resistance
-
Excellent heat-absorbing capacity
-
Chemical resistance and resistance to all construction materials
-
Resistance to heat
-
High elasticity, strenght and toughness in a wide temperature span
-
Enhanced resistance to fire
-
Non-toxic
-
Odourless and environment-friendly
VERSIONS OF THE THERMOSILENT FOIL
- THERMOSILENT 52 - grey colour roll with additives for self-extinguishing
- THERMOSILENT 53 - white colour roll
- THERMOSILENT 52 TR - ribbons of Thermosilent 52 foil. Its purpose: noise reducing elastic junctions
between floating floors and surrounding walls.
- THERMOSILENT 52 PR - round profiles from expanded polyethylene. Its purpose: Elastic base for packing
masses used in the construction industry. The profile is water resistant, chemically
resistant, resistant to solvents in packing masses.
